Dillon Gabriel struggled in the first half of Oregon's Game No. 6 against Michigan State on Friday night, but the Ducks still managed to take a 21-0 lead.

Gabriel finished two quarters 12 of 20 for 171 yards and threw a touchdown and two interceptions. Both were costly as the Ducks were inside the red zone.

Gabriel rebounded in the second half with another touchdown and finished the game with 257 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on 20 of 32 passing, helping Oregon to a 31-10 victory. He also added 22 rushing yards and another score.

After starting the season with eight passing touchdowns and zero interceptions in his first three appearances, Gabriel has now been sent off three times in the last two games.

The fans praised his performance.

In the last two games, Dillon Gabriel has thrown three interceptions, either at the goal line or in the end zone.
That's hard to expect from a quarterback from Oregon.

Thanks to an exceptional performance from defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi's team, the Ducks were able to stay ahead. Michigan State only amassed 96 total yards in the first half and failed to score.

The Spartans almost took an early lead in the first quarter, but a fumble by quarterback Aidan Chiles at the goal line ended a promising opening drive.

Thanks to Oregon's strong defensive performance combined with 166 rushing yards from Jordan James, the Ducks started the season 5-0.
