Pamela Anderson prefers Oscar de la Renta's little black dress at the 2024 Glamor Women of the Year Awards

Pamela Anderson joined a bevy of high-profile attendees at the 2024 Glamor Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday. The event honored outstanding women from various fields for their contributions to their respective fields. Anderson is Glamour's Global Woman of the Year.

For the occasion, Anderson opted for an elegant little black dress from Oscar de la Renta. The cocktail dress had a sophisticated silhouette with an off-the-shoulder neckline and draped skirt with velvet ribbon.

Crafted from decadent stretch wool, the little black dress was a classic choice from the Fall 2024 collection. Anderson previously wore another Oscar de la Renta design to the 2024 Met Gala last May. The fawn dress featured a hand-pleated corset bodice and gave Anderson the look of a “fairy in the woods,” Garcia said.

For the past few months, Anderson has been on a press tour promoting her upcoming film The Last Showgirl. Anderson has demonstrated her style versatility on several red carpets so far, wearing a floral look by CH Carolina Herrera at the San Sebastian Film Festival and her own take on suiting at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“I’m so happy for Pamela because I feel like she really deserves it,” “The Last Showgirl” director Gia Coppola told WWD last September. “She is such a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out. And you know, I saw her documentary and that really proved to me that she was the only person who could play this character. And I'm just so happy that she's able to demonstrate and showcase the talents that have always been within her that I think the media has always kind of neglected.”

In “The Last Showgirl,” Anderson plays Shelley, whose life is thrown into disarray when the Las Vegas show she has been a part of for 30 years is abruptly canceled. The film will be in theaters this fall.
