Pleasant fall weekend before the hot work week

Pleasant fall weekend before the hot work week

This weekend temperatures will be near 80 and the weather will remain sunny and dry. A moderate east-southeast wind will be the main reason warmer weather pushes into North Texas this weekend.

As the dry spell continues, the risk of grass fires will also be high. Even a small spark could quickly start a grass fire. The good news is that humidity will continue to rise, which will help improve fire conditions somewhat.

The weather is expected to warm up again next week, when the upper 80s and lower 90s are likely to return. Near record heat is possible through Wednesday before temperatures begin to fall toward the end of the week.
