Princess Kate's favorite meal revealed at a frequented pub | Royal | News

Princess Kate's favorite meal is a British pub classic, according to a former chef who has high praise for Prince William's wife.

William, Kate and their three children are known to eat out on a number of occasions and remain reserved despite their royal status.

One of the Princess's favorite restaurants is said to be the Old Boot Inn, located in Stanford Dingley, a village in Berkshire near her hometown of Bucklebury, where her parents still live.

According to one of the pub's former chefs, Kate is known for indulging in some really delicious-sounding dishes on the menu.

Speaking to People around the royal wedding, Rody Warot said: “Kate is always discreet and always complemented the dishes with great kindness.”

“Their favorite dishes are the pate on toasted brioche or the roasted figs on Parma ham with spicy apple chutney, followed by tiger prawns and wild mushroom linguine,” he added.

“And for dessert, her favorite is sticky toffee pudding. It’s juicy and spongy.”

When it comes to food at home, Kate reportedly enjoys cooking Italian food with her kids. During a visit to Lavender Primary School, the King told Matthew Little-Mann that they often prepare a comforting bowl of mac 'n' cheese.

He said: “She told us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. You made cheese pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one adds milk and butter. And they make salads and stuff.”

Kate is also a fan of making homemade pizza with the help of the kids, who reportedly enjoy “getting their hands dirty” while making the dough

Over the years, Kate has spoken about her love of curry and even revealed that it is her favorite takeaway food.

On a trip to Birmingham, the Queen said she “loves curries and spices” while her husband, Prince William, admitted he prefers milder options, telling viewers: “I'm a masala man.”

He added: “Catherine can eat it,” but said of himself as he tried to eat the dish: “I'm starting to sweat!”

Apparently Kate's love of curry is so great that she and her family of five “secretly try out lots of curry restaurants around the country.”

Kate added that her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, “absolutely” love Indian food.
