Rachael Ray suffered “some serious falls” after speech problems.

Rachael Ray revealed she had “a few bad falls” recently after sparking concern from fans over her “slurred speech.”

In the first episode of her podcast “I’ll sleep when I’m dead,” published on Tuesday, the celebrity chef told guest Jenny Mollen: “I’m a housewife. I love homework. I love being in the kitchen. I work with my brain every day. I'm always writing something.

“But I really like chores. I like what people mean by physical work. “I like making dinner, planning dinner, and making lists,” she continued, adding that she even loves “helping out in the woodwork.”

However, Ray shared that she has “had a few bad falls in the last few weeks” and “hasn't done this in a while.”

Although it is unclear when the falls occurred, the 56-year-old previously worried her fans when she appeared to speak “slurred” in videos she posted on Instagram.

In a clip from September, she talked about hosting a dinner for the late Tony Bennett and his wife. However, her voice made netizens wonder if she was suffering from any health problems.

“I love you, but are you okay? I'm seriously worried,” one user commented, while another asked, “Wait! What’s wrong with Rachael Ray?”

“Is she slurring or is it me slurring,” a third person wrote.

“Rachel is in trouble?! I hope someone is as worried as I am?” commented a fourth.

Many also defended Ray, saying her speech was because she was getting older “like the rest of us.”

“She's aging normally, no plastic surgery or she's doing it like everyone else…real people…all people are judging about how all these celebrities have plastic surgery on their chest, lip but (sic) anything and she's just like us again the naturalness.” So yeah, this is a shock to all of you… Come on Rachael, do your thing and thank you for showing us the real you,” one person wrote.

“My goodness, you perfect people who make the most horrible, hateful comments. GO ON!” a second commented.

Ray has never commented on health issues in the past, but in 2008 she was forced to deny her claims that she had throat cancer.

“Rachael is the picture of health. “She will have to undergo very minor surgery to remove a benign cyst on her vocal cord,” her spokesman Charlie Dougiello said at the time.

“It is a standard on-and-off procedure that she must complete in early December, and it will not impact any of her daytime shows or Food Network tapings.”
