ReFantazio – How to get quick EXP to level up archetypes

If you're having trouble with a tough fight in Metaphor: ReFantazio, one of the easiest ways to make things easier is to upgrade your characters and archetypes so they have better stats and access to stronger abilities. The only problem is that grinding layers can be a tedious process, but Metaphor has a system to help with this.

While there is no quick way to level up characters, there are things you can do to level up your archetypes, and the more you do it, the faster it will happen. We explain the easiest way to farm EXP in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Over the course of the game, you've probably collected a handful of items like Hero's Incense, Hero's Fruit, or Hero's Leaf of Light, which grant XP to each archetype that one of your characters has unlocked. These can greatly speed up your archetype progression, and the good news is that it is possible to farm one of these items.

The Hero's Leaf of Light is the second best of these items, granting 1,000 EXP to an archetype. There is a very easy way to get lots of them. In the metaphor, if a character has mastered an archetype, they will do so instead of leveling up For every 1,000 EXP gained, create a Hero Sheet of Lightso you can give this EXP to any character you want.

Gathering multiple party members with a mastered archetype will allow you to farm many of these items quickly, allowing your remaining characters to master their archetypes even faster. The only thing you need to be careful of is the fact that you can only hold 99 of these items at a time. Any new items you receive will then be lost. So make sure you use them regularly to prevent overflow.
