Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts reflect on their experiences on Season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” after being double eliminated on the Oct. 8 episode.

After “Soul Train Night” and “Hair Metal Night,” the actors found themselves at the bottom of the best list.

Roberts and his pro partner Britt Stewart scored 46 points, while VelJohnson and his pro partner Emma Slater scored 42 points – a far cry from “Bachelor” alum Joey Graziadei and his pro partner Jenna Johnson's score of 70, their highest score of the night.

VelJohnson calls Slater “my forever friend”

VelJohnson and Slater then spoke about the strong bond they had formed as partners.

“It will be hard for me to say goodbye because I love her,” VelJohnson told “Good Morning America” after her exit.

Slater agreed, saying: “It will be really sad not seeing him every day. That was the first thought that came to mind. So we have to make sure we see each other.”

The “Family Matters” alum called Slater “my friend forever” after their shared experience.

“He's in my life absolutely forever,” Slater added, promising to continue their famous TikTok dances since they live close to each other.

“People have missed seeing Reggie on their TV screens and this was a perfect opportunity for him to do something on a regular basis. He graced television screens every week and a whole new generation of people fell in love with him – because of that and social media,” she said. “So I really hope Reggie stays on the TV screen and all these floods of job offers come his way.”

When reflecting on their partnership, VelJohnson called Slater “joyful,” while Slater described the “Die Hard” actor with the word “sunshine.”

Roberts reveals plans for a double date with Stewart and her partners

Roberts and Stewart also shared a close bond.

“It's very sad because I've gotten so close to her, my wife and I have gotten so close to her and her fiancé (“CODA” actor Daniel Durant), that it's going to be like a divorce,” he said. “It’s no fun.”

However, Roberts revealed that he and his wife Eliza had already arranged a “double date” with Stewart and Durant.

“We plan a date to see Daniel. He's performing 'American Idiot' in downtown LA with the Deaf West Theater,” Stewart said. “So we’re all going to support him and hang out after.”

Roberts said partnering with Stewart was like a “new member of the family.”

“I mean, we're connected through thick and thin now. “We saw each other at our best, she saw me at my worst, and we survived it and we love each other for it,” the “Runaway Train” actor said.

Stewart spoke about working with Roberts, who she said was “very hard on himself.”

“I always tried to help him give himself a little grace throughout the process,” she said. “He surprised me at every turn, and it was also a nice experience to get to know him as a person.”

“Surprising” was Stewart's chosen word to describe Roberts, explaining, “When he really shows you his true self and his heart, it's something you wouldn't necessarily expect.”

For Roberts, the word he used to describe Stewart was “precious.” Why?

“Because it’s important to her,” he said.
