Report: Davante Adams tells the Raiders he wants to be traded

Yes, Davante Adams probably played his last game as a Raider.

Adams informed the Raiders about this via NFL Media he wants to be traded.

It became apparent on Sunday when a report emerged that Adams “Week after week” with a hamstring injury that occurred in training last Thursday. Given that the Raiders had just lost to the Panthers and given his exorbitant 2025 salary, moving Adams is the best move.

Since they would have cut him after the season before his $35.64 million salary is on the books, they would not receive a compensatory draft pick if he signs elsewhere. The only way to get compensation is to replace it before the deadline, which expires in five weeks.

He wants now.

That's the next step, unless of course the Raiders heat up and become real contenders in the next five weeks. They will likely have to do it without Adams, whose weekly soft tissue injury likely won't be adequately healed until the week he lands with a new team.
