Robert Lewandowski explains why it is “easier” for him to score goals for Barcelona under Hansi Flick

Robert Lewandowski spoke about his goalscoring prowess after scoring a hat-trick for Barcelona against Alaves in La Liga on Sunday.

The Barcelona striker has scored 12 goals in just 11 appearances in all competitions this season and says he is receiving better care from his teammates.

“I get good passes, which makes it easier to score goals. We played very well from the start, with a very attacking approach. “If you score three goals in the first half, you can play with more control in the second half,” he told the media after the game.

“We worked very well in preparation for the season. We have a very good group. With these players we can play better and everything we were missing before has become better. It's football. You have to play 100% no matter who you are playing against.”

Lewandowski also spoke about the difficulties presented by Barca's current hectic schedule, but he hopes his team will be stronger after the international break as injured players return.

“We play every three days and I have never played five games in my life with only two days between each game,” he added.

“I hope that the injured players will return to the team after the break and we will be stronger after the break.”

Barcelona's next game is against Sevilla at Montjuic on Sunday October 20th.
