Ryan Reynolds is celebrating years of “adventures” with Hugh Jackman on his 56th birthday

Ryan Reynolds wished for a 90-year bond with his best friend Hugh Jackman for his birthday.

Jackman celebrated his 56th birthday on October 12, 2024.

Reynolds shared a carousel of photos with the Deadpool & Wolverine co-star on Instagram on Saturday.

In the caption, the actor expressed his hope of working together until he's 90, saying, “I hope we can do this until we're 90.” Happy birthday @thehughjackman.”

“Many years. Lots of adventures,” Reynolds added.

Additionally, Reynolds also took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of Jackman with a quote from Indiana Jones.

The quote from Raiders of the Lost Art was: “It’s not the years, darling. It’s the mileage.”

The actor added a caption: “Happy birthday to the one and only greatest showman.”

It is worth noting that the two actors share the same birthday month. While Jackman turns 56 today, Reynolds celebrates his 48th birthday on October 23rd.

The director and her longtime boyfriend Shawn Levy celebrated the occasion earlier this month. He shared photos from the duo's joint birthday party on Instagram.

“October is the best month for friends’ birthdays. A perfect fall day celebrating early with two of the BEST,” he captioned the post.
