Sabrina Carpenter's fans were outraged after paying $200 for seats that “didn't exist.”

A user named Kelsey posted on TikTok on Monday that she had attended the singer's Short n' Sweet tour date at the United Center Arena in Chicago on Sunday, only to be told that there were no seats left in her section.

Venue staff were forced to find a last-minute solution and rushed out portable chairs so the group could be seated.

To make matters worse, once they were seated, they couldn't see the stage because their seats were so far to the edge of the arena.

Sharing a video of her seat and the stage view, she wrote, “When Ticketmaster sells you seats that don't even exist and so they bring you folding chairs??? 'Sabrina girls, please help.'

She added in the caption: “@Sabrina Carpenter please please please we paid $200 what the heck I'm so sad (sic).”

As one user commented, “They shouldn't even be able to sell these kind of tickets, it's a scam,” Kelsey replied, “Would you like to hear something even crazier?” “We bought them in advance.”

Another shared: “I'm confused. Doesn't it show you where your seats are? “That fear is why I try to just do Pit when I can,” to which she replied, “The diagram didn't show us that.” Plus, we have numbered seats bought. “They had to bring us folding chairs, so our seats weren’t even real to begin with.”

MailOnline has contacted Ticketmaster and United Center Arena for comment.

Last month, Sabrina kicked off her Short N' Sweet Tournamed after their new studio album, which was released in August.

Despite wowing concertgoers, she recently hit back at a social media troll who accused her of lip-syncing at her live concerts.

Shortly after the tour began, a TikTok user posted a fan video of one of her performances and asked, “Does she ever sing live?”

Another account reposted the clip and responded to the question: “I hate to say this but 30% lip singing, 30% backing track and 40% singing.”

Not only did they have no chairs, but once they were seated they couldn't see the stage because their seats were so far to the side of the arena (pictured: United Center Arena).

The heated accusation managed to get Sabrina's attention and she jumped into the comments section to offer her response.

Sabrina defiantly wrote under the TikTok video: “I sing 100% live at every show. Would you like to speak to my sound engineers?”

However, the social media user remained unconvinced, replying to Sabrina: “I would tell them to turn down the backtrack voice as it's way too high pitched.”

Her album “Short 'N Sweet” made headlines with the song “Taste,” a snappy song said to be aimed at Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.

Although she doesn't name a specific man in the lyrics to “Taste,” she tells a compelling story about an ex who got back together with a former flame.

Sabrina was briefly linked to Shawn in 2023, during one of the gaps in his long-term on-off relationship with Camila.

Shawn and Camila publicly got back together not long after Sabrina was dating rumors, but have since broken up.

Sabrina's Taste text is aimed at the woman with whom his ex rekindled his old romance, and her message to her love rival is devastating.

“I heard you're back together and if that's true you'll just have to taste me when he kisses you,” she teases the other woman in the chorus.

Sabrina also reveals that she went through her ex's wardrobe before the breakup, so half of his clothes are gone and now “my body is where they are.”

In a withering voice, she listens to her friend who keeps appearing: “Now I’m gone, but you’re still lying next to me, a degree of separation.”

Sabrina even acknowledges her old friend's sense of humor, noting, “He's funny, now all his jokes hit differently.” Guess who he learned that from? The taste follows rumors that Sabrina has dumped her latest boyfriend, Saltburn bloke Barry Keoghan, because of his “party animal” lifestyle.
