Monday Night Raw ring announcer Samantha Irvin announced that she is leaving WWE in a letter posted on social media.

Irvin thanked WWE fans, wrestlers and employees in her letter. Her exit comes after her fiancé Ricochet left WWE and moved to AEW last summer.

“WWE Universe, my time as your Monday Night Raw ring announcer has come to an end,” the statement read. “I love you all more than anything and that doesn’t mean the end of my art, I still have a lifetime to share with you.”

Irvin joined WWE in 2021 as a ring announcer for 205 Live. A year later, she was moved to SmackDown Live to replace Greg Hamilton after he left the company. In February 2023, she moved to Monday Night Raw.

Irvin quickly became a fan favorite because of her passionate approach to ring announcing. Last April, she competed in 14 matches at WrestleMania 40, earning praise from legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer.
