Skip Bayless is feeling bad after the Dallas Cowboys' recent embarrassment

Skip Bayless has turned a new page in his career and is trying to reinvent himself after FS1. But some things never change. Like shaky handheld videos showing his dejected reaction to the Dallas Cowboys' recent fiasco. And America's Team came up with a treat for Bayless to respond to Sunday night when they allowed the Detroit Lions to deliver a 47-9 thrashing on Jerry Jones' 82nd birthday.

Wearing one of the few Cowboys jerseys he owns that wasn't performatively thrown in the trash, Bayless shared his fight with the world.

“I just had to watch the Dallas Cowboys’ fourth home game in a row where they were eliminated at halftime,” he said sadly. “Destroyed. Humiliated. And it devastated me to watch the team I grew up with play like that. Embarrassing us all so much.”

Bayless, like many other Dallas fans, wondered why Mike McCarthy is still employed as the team's head coach. It's a question he's been asking himself since the Cowboys were decimated by the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs last year.

What is that? Bayless is devastated and humiliated by his football team that relies only on style and substance, and you laugh? Where is your humanity?

Dallas gets a much-needed week off to try and right the ship. A weakened defensive unit could really use the break. But once again, it looks like another wasted and ultimately meaningless season for the Cowboys, no matter how many A-Blocks they run. In a way, it's reassuring that some things stay the same.
