South Carolina-Oklahoma “College GameDay” predictions: Who picked Gamecocks, Sooners?

South Carolina football, which is currently giving Alabama a major scare, will once again take the field against an opponent that wears purple in its uniform.

The Gamecocks travel to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Sooners as SEC opponents for the first time in the history of the two programs. LaNorris Sellers and Raheim “Rocket” Sanders enter Norman at 3-3 this season against the 4-2 Sooners, who are licking their wounds after a blowout loss to arch-rival Texas.

It's a stretch full of ups and downs for Shane Beamer's crew as the Gamecocks will advance from unranked Oklahoma to No. 14 Texas A&M before taking on Vanderbilt, Missouri, Wofford and Clemson in Rivalry Week.

South Carolina has made bowls in each of Beamer's first two seasons, a streak he ultimately hopes to continue.
