Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson Stats, Height, Weight, Profile Details

At 5'10″ tall and weighing 220 pounds, Henderson entered the Ohio State University backfield with incredibly high expectations. And after a dominant season as a true freshman, Henderson really hasn't looked back and only Covid and minor injuries have really slowed him down.

His true freshman season was one for the ages as Henderson's stats from that year are pretty ridiculous:

Carrier: 183
Yards: 1,248
Average: 6.8
TD: 15

He added another 312 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Henderson tied Archie Griffin's single-game freshman rushing record with 277 yards in just his third game with the team. Now, four seasons later, Henderson has achieved the following career results:

Carrier: 488
Yards: 3,085
Average: 6.3
TD: 36

Receptions: 56

Henderson was a consensus five-star recruit out of Southeast Virginia. A product of Hopewell High School outside of Richmond, Henderson ran through defenders at will throughout his high school years.

An excellent multi-sport athlete, Henderson excelled on both the track and field, where he was named the 2019 Gatorade High School Player of the Year in Virginia. Thanks to Henderson, Hopewell won the state championship in 2019 with an undefeated record.

With a similar height, Henderson compares best to the youngest players like James Cook and Sony Michel. In reality, Henderson has the skills of a player like Tevin Coleman, who at 6'3″ is only slightly shorter than Coleman.

Henderson has achieved top speed down the stretch in the open field, but needs to improve to that speed. While he's not the most nervous back, his vision, burst and contact power, and receiving ability are more and more reminiscent of Coleman than any other back.

Where will TreVeyon Henderson be selected in the 2025 NFL Mock Drafts?

Since running backs are currently valued outside of the first round and Henderson has an injury history, it's likely that he won't be mocked very often in the first round. That's not an indictment of his talent, however, because when healthy, Henderson is a first-round talent in every way.

He is currently ranked No. 29 in the College Football Network's Mock Draft Simulator and is the third-ranked running back behind teammate Quinshon Judkins.
