Steph Curry leaves Warriors vs. Kings preseason game with jammed finger – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

The last thing the Warriors need less than two weeks before the start of the 2024-25 NBA regular season is an injury to Steph Curry, but that's something they're dealing with at the moment, although there doesn't appear to be anything to worry about.

Curry, 36, left the Warriors' preseason game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night at Chase Center after jamming a finger in the first half. A team source told NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole that the illness is “not occurring.” seem serious.

Curry was subbed with 4:02 left in the first half, and a short time later we walked into the Warriors' locker room with Rick Celebrini, the team's director of sports medicine and performance.

When the second half began, Curry was not in the starting lineup or on the bench.

According to the Warriors, Curry was in the weight room working out during the second half of the game.

Curry finished Friday's game with six points on 2 of 7 shooting from the field and 1 of 4 from 3-point range in 16 minutes of play.

The Warriors still have three preseason games left before they open the regular season on October 23rd on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers.
