Stocks up, stocks down for Chicago Bears-Jacksonville Jaguars

Stocks up, stocks down for Chicago Bears-Jacksonville Jaguars

Don't look now, but the Chicago Bears have won three straight. And scored five offensive touchdowns in consecutive games. And had a QB with a rating over 100 in three straight games.

There are a lot of good stats for the Bears after they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday. Stats like “The Bears won for the first time since a year before your parents were born years ago.”

We're really breaking new ground here. And it's fun! Don't apologize for which opponents it happened against, just enjoy the ride.

Stock up

Caleb Williams, QB – Williams threw four touchdowns and led five touchdown drives. He recovered from his interception and led four straight touchdown drives. This is high-end QB play. It's what we expected and it's still shocking to see, but it's so much fun.

Cole Kmet, TE – If you defended Kmet's extension last year, it's time to rejoice. And if you were against Kmet's new deal, you can still admit you were wrong and no one will blame you. Kmet is a legitimate top-10 TE in the league. He is a real all-rounder. Sure, he doesn't have the gaudy numbers of the best, Travis Kelce or George Kittle, but he blocks, he catches, and heck, he can even go long if necessary.

Keenan Allen, WR – There are a lot of great contenders for third place this week, but I'm going with them all. During Steven and my live stream during Sunday's game, we had commentators lamenting the trade for Allen. And it's not uncommon to hear people say things like “Allen is done, bad trade with the Poles” or “We gave up a third for that?” Allen hasn't played a big role in the passing game yet, although that changed on Sunday. But he's involved in the offense, as evidenced by the move he made on Kmet's first touchdown. And then he can still be open and make tight catches like he did on fourth down or his first TD catch.

Inventory reduced

Gervon Dexter, DT – Not really a big deal, but he didn't have the impact on Sunday that we're used to. He finished the game with a QB hit and a tackle.

Nate Davis, G – Finally it happened. Davis was a fully healthy scratch. He is now officially on the bench and is expected to leave the team next spring.

Is there anyone I've missed? I'm going to choose your own adventure for the third share price because I can't think of anyone who really didn't do well on Sunday! Sound off in the comments.
