Tennessee football will begin its rivalry game against Florida at Neyland Stadium in less than 24 hours. That means it's time for the Friday night availability report for the Vols' matchup against the rival Gators.

The availability report is new to the SEC this season and effectively serves as an injury report that each team releases each night starting Wednesday and continuing through kickoff. The final availability report will appear 90 minutes before kick-off on match day.

Both Florida and Tennessee have a handful of key starters who were on the injury report this week and whose status for the SEC showdown is uncertain.

– S Jourdan Thomas

– LB Edwin Spillman

– LB Ben Bolton

Tennessee notes

There is some movement on the injury front in Tennessee. Receivers Dont'e Thornton, Bru McCoy and Squirrel White are no longer on the injury report, nor is STAR Christian Harrison.

The Vols have their entire group of receivers available, as well as one of their starters in the defensive backfield.

Florida Availability Report

OUT OF

– DB Ja'Keem Jackson

– WR TJ Abrams

– RB Treyaun Webb

–RB KD Daniels

– WR Kahleil Jackson

– OL Devon Manuel

– TE Tony Livingston

– WR Marcus Burke

– DL Jamari Lyons

QUESTIONABLE

– DB DJ Douglas

– DB Bryce Thornton

– DB Asa Turner

– OL Austin Barber

– DL Joey Slackman

Florida Notes

No movement on Florida availability report. Nine players remain out while five players are still questionable.

The best players to keep an eye on remain cornerback Bryce Thornton and left tackle Austin Barber. Devon Manuel is Barber's backup. So if he can't be there, Florida's top two offensive tackles won't be able to participate.
