The IMAX poster for Gladiator II is spectacular

Gladiator II received three spectacular new posters to promote its upcoming IMAX release.

The best, of course, is the one in which the protagonist Lucius (Paul Mescal) competes in the gladiatorial arena against a giant rhinoceros ridden by an equally fearsome opponent. You can check out all three posters below.

“Gladiator II,” directed by Ridley Scott, will be shown in premium large formats such as IMAX, Dolby and 4DX. It's one of, if not the, biggest productions of Scott's career, and given that it dates back to 1977 and includes films like Alien, Blade Runner and the original Gladiator, that's saying something.

The Gladiator II press tour is currently in full swing, so you'll be seeing plenty more news straight from the core cast of Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn and Pedro Pascal. Perhaps even more exciting, however, is the reveal of Gladiator II's new popcorn bucket.

It's shaped like the same gladiator helmet worn by Russell Crowe's character Maximus in 2000's “Gladiator,” and is the latest in a long line of novelty popcorn buckets that tie in with films that have previously included “Dune,” “Deadpool “ and “Wolverine” as well as “Venom” belonged.
