The long drive to end the first quarter gave the Packers control

GREEN BAY – After taking a two-point lead over the Cardinals on Sunday, the Packers never relinquished it in their 34-13 victory.

So it makes sense that the property that offers such an edge is the Chevy Drive of the week.

The Packers already led 7-0 and took control of their own 20-yard line with 6:37 left in the first quarter.

QB Jordan Love started things off with a 19-yard completion to WR Romeo Doubs over the middle. Two plays later, a screen pass to RB Emanuel Wilson netted 19 more goals.

After Wilson ran 7 yards, Love converted on third-and-3 with a quick pass to WR Dontayvion Wicks, who made a nifty play upfield for 9 yards and a first down at the Arizona 26.

RB Josh Jacobs ran for 2 yards, then caught a short pass that he converted into a 9-yard gain to put the ball in the red zone. An illegal hands-to-the-face penalty pushed the Packers back, but a 7-yard completion to WR Jayden Reed and Love's hard count that put the Cardinals offside for the third time in the game set up the third-and-1 third place. 5 from the Arizona 10 on the opening play of the second quarter.

Love hurled a pass toward the sideline to Doubs, who grabbed the pass, kept his feet in the game and then shifted his body to leap across the goal line for the touchdown.

The Packers led 14-0 after an 11-play, 80-yard drive that took a total of 6:42, and the Cardinals never got within a point again.
