There are thousands of deals in Walmart's big sale – these are the 10 we're buying

It's been a long shopping week for the Yahoo team – someone has to do it, right? Our editors worked hard to find the best deals and bargains at the Walmart Holiday Deals event — you can find that pick here — but we couldn't help but snag a few treats for ourselves. Come on, we're only human!

With Halloween, winter cooking, and tech upgrades in mind, here are some of the wonderful discounts from big brands (KitchenAid, Crocs, LG) that we've come up with. But don't forget: Sunday is your last day to shop Walmart's big sale, so put whatever you've got your eye on in your cart right away.

“Don’t judge me, but I’m not one to iron my clothes. I much prefer using a steamer to remove wrinkles and I'm looking for a new one. I like how this one heats up super quickly (it only takes 15 seconds, whereas my old steamer took closer to a minute) and that it has a large window so I can see how much water it contains.”

“If I'm going to have a pair of Crocs for the backyard, they might as well be glamorous. I plan on making this sparkly pair my go-to item so I can feel chic while playing with the dog and pretending to be a movie star.” Gardening. (Or pretend to garden.)

“I purchased the air fryer from Drew Barrymore's kitchen line last year and have been raving about it to friends and family. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I can't wait to try out the slow cooker. It's prettier than others on the market (I love the rich blue tone and gold accents!) and it will be perfect for cooking soups and chili this winter.”

“We just spent an obscene amount of money building a new patio, so you better believe me, I'm checking out all the end-of-season deals on patio furniture and accessories. “I've always loved Adirondack chairs, but I'm over it.” So these high-density polyethylene chairs are just the ticket – they're virtually maintenance-free, they're lighter, they're foldable, they're stackable… what's not to love? ? The hardest part will be choosing a color.”

“I have been slowly (but surely) furnishing my new apartment over the last year. “I gave up on any big furniture purchases early on, but now I'm working on finding small ways to make my spaces feel like a home.” A new full-length mirror has been on my wish list for a few months now—and now that this one is almost $150 off, I'm going to snag a fancy arched mirror this size for just $50. I have a lot more to say.

“You can never have enough spooky Halloween decorations. I live in an area of Los Angeles populated primarily by film and television set designers, so my version of “Keeping Up with the Joneses” involves maintaining a respectably scary front yard on Halloween. This Howling, Moving Werewolf has glowing eyes and is scary enough to gain credibility with the jaded teenagers on my block – and it's almost 60% off.”

“With the holidays just around the corner, I'm starting to think about everything I need as a host. One thing I like to have extras of is dinnerware, and this beautiful stoneware set looks a lot more expensive than it is. The minimalist design will look beautiful without putting too much focus on the food!”

“I already own the mini version of this classic KitchenAid stand mixer, but recently it became clear that it was just too small… and not as powerful as the original. So I currently have my eye on this 4.5L model that's $100 cheaper at Walmart. It's an investment, but as someone who loves cooking and baking, I know I'll use it often. Now I just have to decide which color I want to buy.

“I'm a movie buff (I just got a Criterion subscription for my birthday) and a gamer (there's nothing better than Resident Evil 4). But I've always settled for a $100 TV because… you know how you just get used to things? Then I saw Miller's Crossing in 4K and realized that even though I live in a 150 year old house, I can still use modern technology. But who can spend a lot of money like many others? Experience the 4K glory of this 50-inch TV from LG. It makes great films even better and Resident Evil 4 even more frightening – and all without a frightening price.”

“I've been looking for a new pair of noise canceling headphones and I can't believe how pretty this gray and gold Beats pair is. And now that they're only $159, I think it's time to take the plunge.” ! Not only do they have a 22 hour battery life, but the padded ear cuffs look incredibly comfortable.”
