The San Diego Padres play the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the National League Division Series today at Petco Park.

The Dodgers won Game 1 of the series 7-5 behind a standout performance from two-time MVP Shohei Ohtani, who went 2-for-5 and hit a home run.

In Game 2, San Diego displayed an aggressive offense, hitting six home runs. All-Star Fernando Tatis Jr. hit two of those home runs and the Padres beat the Dodgers 10-2.

The first two games were played in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium, and Games 3 and 4 will be played at Petco Park.

This is the first time in MLB history that all four division series are tied 1-1 after the first two games.

2024 season

  • Bryan Hoeing (University of Louisville): In 53.2 innings, Hoeing struck out 43 batters and posted a 2.18 ERA with a 2-3 record. Through two innings this postseason, he is 1-0 and has a 4.50 ERA.
