Track Pro Football Focus's snap count and grades since the Arizona Wildcats' loss to Colorado

It wasn't your imagination; Arizona's 34-7 home loss to Colorado was as bad as it's ever been.

But when it comes to scoring, the Wildcats haven't been nearly as bad in some areas as they have been at other times in what is quickly becoming a losing season. Accordingly Professional football focusUA's overall grade of 65.0 on Saturday was slightly better than BYU's 64.5 the week before, but that grade was heavily influenced by the defense.

Arizona's defense posted a 75.3 rating, its second-best this season and behind only the 84.3 it received for its win over NAU in Week 2. The Wildcats' run defense (83.4) was also the second-best in NAU play and they recorded their second-best tackling grade (67.2) of the season.

On offense, however, it was a completely different (and bad) story. Arizona earned a grade of 53.4 for its time with the ball, its lowest mark since October 2021, when it earned a grade of 52.9 in a 34-0 loss to Colorado.

The main culprit was the passing game, with the pass blocking rating of 42.7 being the lowest since Utah's 33.9 in 2022.

With an overall grade of 81.8, Arizona ranks 72nd out of 134 FBS schools this season. Next weekend's opponent, West Virginia, is ranked 69thTh at 81.8.

Below are the overall grades and snap counts for every UA player who played on offense or defense against Colorado, as well as some superlatives.
