Travis Kelce expresses his love and excitement for the Cleveland Guardians

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland Heights native and NFL star Travis Kelce expresses his love and excitement for the Guardians after their win on Thursday night.

Kelce took to Twitter after the Guardians' 7-5 win in extra innings in Game 3 of the ALCS against the New York Yankees at Progressive Field.

“Playoff baseball baby!!! @CleGuardians are absolutely rocking the city tonight!! What a game!” Kelce said right after the game.

Kelce showed up to the first game of the ALCS with his girlfriend Taylor Swift. But he wasn't wearing his Guardians gear. More of a black and white outfit with a baseball cap that says “Midnight Rodeo.”

Kelce also took to Twitter to clear the air about his sports fan base.

“I have been a Cleveland sports fan my entire life. I have attended countless Guards and Cavs games over the years just to enjoy those memories with my friends and family, WIN OR LOSE!! …and I don't wear Cleveland gear once and suddenly I'm not a real fan?! Ask anyone who was in or near this suite for Game 1 who I was cheering for, they'll tell you I was there for the @CleGuardians,” he said.
