Tyreek Hill doesn't seem happy about the Chiefs trading for star WR

On Wednesday morning, Chiefs fans woke up to great news. Kansas City acquired five-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a fifth-rounder who can move up to a fourth-rounder.

After the Chiefs had already lost countless receivers this season, the need for a playmaker was clear. GM Brett Veach finally pulled the trigger, giving Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid another weapon.

While people are excited about this move, Tyreek Hill posted a cryptic tweet on Wednesday.

On his X/Twitter account, Hill tweeted “hm.” His replies are full of fans saying he misses Kansas City and should come back.

Although he will not be traded to Kansas City, he will have to forego working with Mahomes. It was a tough 2024 season for Hill. Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion on September 12 against the Buffalo Bills. He was placed on IR and missed the following four games.

Hill has struggled to produce much production lately, recording 14 receptions (24 targets) for just 140 receiving yards and zero touchdowns. He played no role in the offense, which has to be frustrating. Last season at Miami, Hill had 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns.

It doesn't feel good when your numbers take a huge hit, especially when you're losing since Miami is 2-4. The Chiefs are now 6-0 despite suffering numerous injuries at wide receiver. They just know how to win as they are aiming for their third straight Super Bowl.

Hill must be feeling it, and the addition of Hopkins may have pushed him back into the past.
