USF Football vs. Memphis postponed to Saturday

TAMPA, October 8, 2024 – The American Athletic Conference has announced that Friday's scheduled football game between South Florida and Memphis has been postponed due to the projected impact of Hurricane Milton on the Tampa Bay region and all of Florida.

The game was postponed Saturday, October 12, 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. After the storm passes, the conference and teams will evaluate the conditions and overall situation to determine if further adjustments are necessary.

Television distribution will be announced at a later date. The game was originally scheduled for Friday, October 11th at 7 p.m

Tickets for the game that have already been purchased remain valid for the new date. USF season ticket members will receive more information soon.

ABOUT USF FOOTBALL

The USF football program first took the field in 1997 and completed its 27th season in 2023 with a program-best six-game turnaround and a Boca Raton Bowl victory under the first-year head coach Alex Golesh. USF completed construction of a new $22 million indoor performance facility in 2023, and completion of a $340 million stadium and football operations center on campus is scheduled for 2027. The Bulls have posted 16 winning seasons and earned 16 All-America selections (including two). Consensus selection, the last of 2021) as well as 32 first-team all-conference honorees.
