Victims of former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries revealed an alleged sick world of sexual abuse

Sex accusers of former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries have revealed details of his alleged sick world in “fantasy land,” claiming he assaulted them in homes designed to look like A&F storefronts.

A man identified only as Luke told the BBC last month that he was 20 years old when Jeffries, then in his 70s, sexually assaulted him in 2011 in a presidential hotel suite – which was designed to look like a film set of an Abercrombie store.

Luke said the room at the hotel in Madrid, Spain, had mood lighting, photos on the wall of shirtless men showing off their abs – and a group of men standing around dressed in the iconic preppy A&F look and Folding clothes on a table as if they were working in one of the shops.

He said assistants told him he had to pose as one of the shirtless greeters at a store and impress “two very important guests.”

Jeffries and his “romantic partner” Matthew Smith – who were both arrested on sex trafficking charges on Tuesday along with the couple's alleged recruiter – then came into the room and began groping and kissing him, Luke claimed.

“I tried to avoid the whole situation as much as possible, but Michael was very aggressive,” Luke told the outlet.

Jeffries then allegedly performed oral sex on him while Luke “repeatedly” said no.

Jeffries, now 80, his British friend Smith, 61, and “recruiter” James Jacobson, 71, are accused of recruiting more than 12 young male models for their own sexual purposes in a human trafficking and prostitution ring they ran for nearly a decade Pleasure to have exploited years.

Milkie said he was once paid $24,000 for a seven-day cruise with Jeffries on the Queen Mary II cruise ship – during which the drunken CEO stuck a “bleeding finger” into him.

Jeffries also forced him to have sex with another man, despite Milkie's protests, which the clothing boss mocked him about, the younger man said.

“Here I am sitting in the middle of the ocean being humiliated to death and literally called worthless by this person four times my age, in this position of power and influence… simply because I said no to something,” Milkie claimed.

“The personification of Mike Jeffries is Abercrombie. He had the hair plugs, the plastic surgery, he wore the clothes, he wore the flip flops. “I mean, you’re talking about power,” Melkie told the outlet of the former CEO — who is known for calling people “dude.”

“He projected his image across the country. “His places where he lived were literally an Abercrombie store,” Milkie said.

“It was like fantasy land.” Milkie wrote on Instagram on Tuesday: “What an incredibly interesting morning with the latest news from Abercrombie and Fitch.”

“When I spoke to @rianna_croxford for the BBC last year, I wasn't sure what would come of our conversations,” he wrote, referring to the revelation that sparked the FBI investigation that led to Tuesday's arrests led.

“I just felt a release and relief when I finally told part of my story and someone was listening. “A silence has been broken,” Milkie said. “Living in a state where you want to express yourself, don't know how or where, and don't allow it in either case because of fear, is hell.

“All I can say is that this article represents only a small part of what needs to be told from the perspective of the industry as a whole.”

But another man, Diego Guillen, told the outlet he believes he and the other men who participated in the so-called “sex events” at the same time “had no obligation, no pressure whatsoever” and were paid “pretty well.” their time.

“Michael and Matthew are well-known gay men and enjoyed having sex with young, good-looking men,” Guillen said. “And when they were older, they knew that the real way to achieve that was to be generous. “But with full consent and making sure that (men) wanted it and liked it. And that’s it.”

Jeffries was accused of running a “well-oiled machine” that lured men into abuse through “recruiters” and paid up to $1,000 for referrals. The alleged victims were invited to sex parties at Jeffries' posh homes and luxury hotels around the world – including London, Paris and Marrakech.

The men – who believed attending the events would boost their modeling careers – would be forced to sign non-disclosure agreements promising not to reveal anything about the sordid soirées or face legal action. And they allegedly never received copies of the NDAs.

They were also assigned a personal “groomer” who shaved their body hair before forcing them to perform sexual acts. And the men were allegedly paid for their participation.

David Bradberry, whose lawsuit against Jeffries and Smith is pending in Manhattan federal court in 2023, claimed the middleman Jacobson introduced him to Jeffries in 2010, when he was 23.

“Jim made it clear to me that I wouldn't date A&F or Mike Jeffries if I didn't let him perform oral sex on me,” Bradberry told the BBC last year.

“I was paralyzed. It was like he was selling fame. And the price was compliance,” he said, noting that Jacobson made him believe that “everyone has their beginning here.”

Bradberry then attended a daytime party at Jeffries' $29 million Hamptons home, where he told Jeffries and Smith that he wanted to be a model for A&F. Jeffries then took “poppers” – or inhaled drugs – before eventually having sex with Bradberry, the suspect said.

Bradberry said he “didn't feel safe saying 'no' or 'I'm not comfortable with that'” because he felt like he was isolated in the middle of nowhere.

Another alleged victim, Barrett Pall, told the BBC that when he was 22 in 2011, he entered Jeffries and Smith's world and felt he could not reject their sexual advances because a recruiter told a struggling Pall helped out financially.

“The further you go, the better,” Pall recalled the recruiter telling him.

Pall said Jeffries kissed and groped him while a chaperone watched, an encounter that “broke me.”

On Tuesday, Jeffries' attorney, Brian Bieber, said: “We will respond fully to the allegations after the indictment is quashed and when appropriate, but plan to do so at the courthouse – not in the media.”
