Weeks after her unclear Instagram post, Rachael Ray gives a health update

Rachael Ray gave an update on her health after appearing to slur her speech in a cooking video last month.

The 56-year-old chef revealed on the first episode of her podcast “I'll Sleep When I'm Dead” that she recently suffered “a few bad falls,” but didn't elaborate.

“I am a housewife. I love homework. I love being in the kitchen,” Ray said on Tuesday’s podcast episode with guest Jenny Mollen. “I work with my brain every day, I’m always writing something, but I really enjoy homework.”

“I like what people think of as physical labor,” she continued. “I like making dinner, planning dinner, and making lists. I love physical work and helping carry the wood.”

Ray added: “I've had a few bad falls in the last few weeks so I haven't done this for a while.”

The former “Rachael Ray Show” host explained that she competes with her husband John Cusimano, 57, when it comes to completing physical tasks.

“‘How many pieces of wood did John carry? Can I carry more? I won't tell John that. I just say it to myself,” she shared.

In early September, fans became concerned about Ray's health after she appeared to slur words in an Instagram clip from her “Rachael Ray in Tuscany” series.

Ray prepared Tony Bennett's favorite dish, osso buco, remembering the time the late singer came over for dinner and slipped on her polished kitchen floor.

However, fans were distracted by the way Ray spoke in the video.

“I love you, but are you okay? “I am very worried,” says one of the numerous comments about her health.

However, others defended Ray, noting that “she's aging like the rest of us” and may be taking medication for an illness.

Ray still hasn't addressed her controversial video, even as she announced her first-ever podcast earlier this month.

“I Sleep When I'm Dead,” reads an official description of the podcast, will explore how Ray and her guests “face life's challenges” in a “melting pot” of conversations.

The description also said that there are “no topics that are off-limits” in the podcast.

In the first episode, Ray also revealed that she and her husband, to whom she has been married since 2005, are “constantly in violent shouting matches.”

However, Ray said that she felt the fights were “healthy” for her and Cusimano's relationship and that they rarely “apologized” to each other.

“At some point I'll pat him on the butt or he'll kiss me on the head, and that's just how it is,” she said. “That’s the excuse. It's just kind of understood. “I still like your ass.” “I still like your head.” It’s kind of in that zone.”
