The special cheeseburger – named after the fictional burger prepared by SpongeBob in the series – is served with an additional slice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and a “top secret” shrimp kolab sauce on a toasted bun.

The new Frosty variant – inspired by Spongebob's fruity home – consists of vanilla and a dash of pineapple and mango flavored puree.

The fast food chain will offer the meals in stores and through the app in the US and Canada starting October 8th.

SpongeBob SquarePants premiered on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999, with the pilot episode “Help Wanted,” in which the “absorbent, yellow, and porous” creature excitedly serves Krabby Patties early in his career as a chef at the Krusty Krab.

News broke earlier this summer when what appeared to be a leaked Wendy's memo from August 16 was posted on Reddit.

The note hinted that Meal Above Sea Level will only be available until November 11th.

Tom Kenny, the actor who voices SpongeBob SquarePants, made headlines this summer when he revealed that the popular cartoon character is autistic.

The new Frosty variant – inspired by Spongebob's fruity home – consists of vanilla and a dash of pineapple and mango flavored puree.

“Of course he is,” Kenny, 62, reportedly told a fan – describing SpongeBob's presence on the spectrum as his “superpower.”

The children's cartoon is already in its 14th season on Nickelodeon. It was renewed for season 15 last year.
