What is the Detroit Lions' most likely outcome at the Dallas Cowboys?

What is the Detroit Lions' most likely outcome at the Dallas Cowboys?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. All year long we ask questions of the most connected people Detroit Lions Fans and fans across the country. Register here to participate in weekly email surveys.

Each week in our SB Nation Reacts poll, we ask readers a question or two specifically aimed at Detroit Lions fans. An article detailing the results will be published later this week.

This week we have two questions: the first is a recurring weekly question and the next is for week 6:

1. Are you confident the Lions are on the right track? (weekly survey)
2. What is the Lions' most likely outcome at the Cowboys?

The Lions' win over the Seahawks in Week 4 brought Lions fan confidence to an all-time high, with 99% of fans believing the Lions were on the right track. Detroit has lived above 90% for most of the past two years, with occasional dips after a loss.

Typically, after a bye week, fan confidence increases compared to previous weeks, but since there is almost no room for growth, I'm curious to see if the success of the other NFC North teams has a negative impact on fan confidence or if the Status quo will be maintained in this week's vote.

In our second survey question:What is the Lions' most likely outcome at the Cowboys?– We gave fans three options to choose from:

  • The Lions win and cover the spread
  • The Lions win but don't cover
  • Cowboys beat Lions

According to the people over there FanDuel Sports Bettingthe Lions are currently three-point favorites. So what we're really asking is whether coach Dan Campbell's controlled rage will carry the Lions to victory, whether they'll win by more than a field goal, or whether they'll give in to the pressure and lose in Dallas for the third straight year.

“That (controlled anger) never really goes away, but yeah, I'm excited,” Campbell said Monday. “I look forward to it. And really, look, it's the next one in front of us and it's a conference opponent and they've had our number for a while. And I grew up down there, so I have a lot of people there. I think it will be a special game.”

Okay, time to vote in the polls below and look out for the results later in the week.
