Johnny Depp is a global personality best known for his bizarre and eccentric roles. His portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean series will forever remain unparalleled. Therefore, the studio is finding it difficult to find a replacement to continue the franchise. The role also had a deep impact on the actor. Depp once revealed that he felt bad about playing the eccentric character. Scroll down for the details.

The franchise consists of five films and is one of the most successful film series of all time. However, due to the domestic violence allegations and defamation cases, Depp was fired from the role by Disney. Now there are reports about the development of a sixth part, and Johnny's name keeps coming up. Most recently, a report claimed that he might make a cameo appearance in the rumored sixth film, but nothing substantial has come to light on this.

A report from Express revealed that Johnny Depp fell into depression after the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. It is the first film in the series and was released in 2003. He told IGN, “I really loved being the character.” He added, “At the end of the movie, when they wrapped up the ending of the movie – and this has happened to me before – you go through a kind of decompression and Depression.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star explained: “You feel like, 'God, I've been this other guy for six or seven months.' 'I'll never see him again.'”

Depp continued: “It’s very strange. I'm not really scary about the whole thing: “You become the character,” that's not it at all. Just knowing someone so well and having played them, making them second nature, it just happens naturally.”

Johnny Depp also said: “It's very foreign to the body to stop.” He is truly unique and there is hardly any other actor who could replace him in the role of Jack Sparrow. The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has grossed $4.52 billion at the global box office, and Depp is one of the main reasons for its success.
