Where can you vote early before November 5th?

Early voting has officially begun in Tennessee, allowing voters to cast their ballots before Election Day on November 5th. In Nashville, registered voters can vote early at one of the many polling locations throughout the city.

When is early voting in Nashville?

Early voting in Tennessee is available October 16-31. To vote early, a registered voter must appear in person at either the county election commission office or a satellite polling location opened by the county election commission.

Voters can contact their local election office by visiting tnsos.org/elections and selecting their state of residence.

Early voting locations in Nashville

All early voting locations will be open throughout the early voting period for the November 5 election. With early voting, voters can cast their vote at any open polling station. Poll workers will ask for your address in order to send you the correct ballot.

What ID is required to vote in Tennessee?

Regardless of whether voters vote early or on Election Day, voters must present a valid photo ID before voting. This may include a state of Tennessee-issued driver's license or photo ID, a U.S. passport, a U.S. military photo ID, or a Tennessee handgun carry permit. This also includes a photograph.

Student ID cards, city or county issued ID cards, and out-of-state photo ID cards are not accepted.

You do not need to bring your voter ID card to vote.
