The Big Mac has a new twin, so to speak.

The Chicken Big Mac is available nationwide starting Thursday, October 10 for a limited time. Here's what you need to know about the sandwich.

What is a Chicken Big Mac?

It's the same as a regular Big Mac, but instead of beef patties, the sandwich features two tempura chicken patties — think two large Chicken McNuggets — and is missing onions.

The sandwich has previously been tested in international markets including the UK. In 2022 it was also tested in Miami

The sandwich recently appeared in Los Angeles at the Chain Pop-up Dining Experience as one of the menu items for a chain called McDonnell's, McDonald's said in a news release.

What does a Chicken Big Mac taste like?

First, a warning: you should not eat this while driving. Original Big Macs are the pinnacle of driving and eating. Chicken Big Macs are amazing and messy. That doesn't mean you can't eat it while driving; That means you shouldn't do it – especially when you're heading back to work or a meeting.

The Big Mac is a cornucopia of flavors (patty, special sauce, lettuce cheese, pickles and bun).
