The Buffalo Bills made a surprising change at running back on Monday.

Before their Week 6 game against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, James Cook was sidelined with a toe injury that had been causing him discomfort.

It was the first NFL game Cook missed in his three years in the league.

That led to head coach Sean McDermott naming the next man up on the depth chart: Ray Davis. Davis wasted no time making an impact, recording more than 100 yards from scrimmage in the first half alone against the Jets.

Davis is a running back for the Bills who stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 220 pounds. He was the No. 128 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 draft by Buffalo.
