After her battle with cancer, Kate Middleton's final concern is being a peacemaker between Prince William and Prince Harry.

Christopher Andersen, the author of “The King,” spoke to Fox News about the relationship between the princess and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying that the couple was not on Kate's radar.

“The idea that Kate somehow still has the time and energy to continue playing peacemaker is nonsense,” Andersen told Fox News. “She tried for years and finally threw up her hands in disgust. She made her contribution, but it was not enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one hand and Harry on the other.”

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that Kate, 42, is “totally at peace” with her husband Prince William, 42, and is tired of dealing with the feud between the siblings.

Instead of focusing her time on the royal brothers, Kate will focus her time on returning to royal duties as she prioritizes her health.

She has completed her preventative chemotherapy. William has been hugely supportive of some royal engagements… (But) Catherine will want to avoid anything that promotes negative energy.”

In early September, Kate announced that she had finished chemotherapy and was now “cancer-free.”

“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” the Princess of Wales wrote in a statement on X, formerly Twitter, at the time.

“My focus now is on doing what I can to stay cancer-free. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my road to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

After stepping down as an active royal and leaving the United Kingdom in 2020, Harry had a strained relationship with his family.

Since his departure, Harry, 40, has given a series of interviews and revealed how unstable his family relationships are.

Many details come from his 2023 memoir “Spare,” in which Harry is particularly open about his arguments with his brother and father, King Charles.

Back in June, Harry and Meghan Markle, 43, reportedly contacted Kate before she made a rare appearance at the Trooping the Color ceremony.

“Both Harry and Meghan have followed Kate's recovery with great interest, but unfortunately this has had to be done more remotely as their lines of communication with the palace and particularly the Waleses are minimal to say the least,” a source told Closer.
