World Series Poll: What is your prediction for Yankees vs. Dodgers?

There's excitement in town as the Yankees return to the Fall Classic for the first time in 15 years. Starting Friday, the Yanks and Dodgers will battle it out to see which titan of the game will leave the year with a championship and which will be left with disappointment. It's a showpiece duel that hasn't happened since 1981.

We won't focus on a difficult topic in this edition of the Reacts survey. With the World Series not starting until the end of the week, we want to know who you're picking to win it all and in how many games. The poll options are limited to “X in 4-5 games” and “X in 6-7 games” rather than opening up all eight possibilities, but the essence of the prediction will be clear. Who wins? And will it be a short or long series?

We also have a question about predicting the World Series MVP. Obviously the result is more open. So even though the question is about the scenario where the Yankees take home No. 28, feel free to click “Other” if you think we're getting a surprise Yankee winner like in the NLCS . where Tommy Edman eventually became MVP amid the star power of Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and others. But Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Giancarlo Stanton and Gerrit Cole seem to be the most obvious candidates.
