Ye's former assistant accuses sex trafficking and sexual assault in amended lawsuit against rapper

Ye's former assistant filed an amended lawsuit against the rapper last week, accusing him of drugging and sexually abusing her, human trafficking, using job openings to recruit sex partners and hiring her to do so to provide him with “sex honey”.

The lawsuit alleges that Ye, who legally changed his name from Kanye West, attacked Lauren Pisciotta in a hotel room after drugging her in a recording studio, used foreign work visas and product photo shoots to recruit potential sex partners, shared “exaggerated” videos of sexual encounters, and offered sex partners and others he described as those that he had “traded” gifts to friends and colleagues.

The civil lawsuit, which initially accused Ye of sexual harassment, was amended and filed Oct. 8 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

In one instance, the amended complaint states that Ye sent Pisciotta a text message seeking advice regarding his desire to have sex with the mother of a celebrity model he said he knew well.

Ye's representative did not immediately respond to NBC News' detailed questions about the allegations in both lawsuits. In June, a spokesperson not only denied the allegations in the original version of the lawsuit, but also claimed that the plaintiff had used sexuality in a failed attempt to “extort employment and other material benefits from the rapper.”

Ultimately, the spokeswoman said, the plaintiff “engaged in blackmail and extortion” when sexual advances did not produce the results she desired. The spokesman said at the time that Ye planned to file a countersuit against Pisciotta.

New allegations

The amended version adds two alleged incidents of sexual assault, including one at a San Francisco hotel in 2021 when the plaintiff and defendant were in town to work on an album that was to be “Donda,” according to the filing.

It is alleged that you attacked Pisciotta and still attempted to have sex Her loud and consistent objections ultimately led him to resign, the lawsuit said.

The other alleged incident occurred prior to the plaintiff's full-time employment with Ye, which began in 2021. She advised Ye on the music business and was invited to a studio session in Santa Monica, California, which the lawsuit states included the presence of Sean “Diddy” Combs. Pisciotta states in the lawsuit that she knew she had been drugged and passed out during the session. Representatives for Combs did not immediately respond to NBC News' request for comment.

Pisciotta claimed that Ye had sex with her while she was unconscious and said she only realized it years later after he bragged about it in text messages that said they “had a little affair once.” the file says.

It alleges that Ye “used his extreme wealth, influence and power to pursue, among other things, sex, his insatiable sexual gratification, desires and fantasies, and the sexual exploitation of his victims, including, but not limited to, attempted sexual exploitation and the plaintiff's human trafficking, sexual assault and the plaintiff's constant sexual harassment and demands.”

Pisciotta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The San Francisco and Santa Monica police departments did not immediately respond to requests for information about the alleged incidents.

The lawsuit said Ye allegedly advocated for other sex partners by introducing them to the possibility of employment and arranging for them to travel with him. At its base of operations in Los Angeles, the lawsuit said, it was “common knowledge” to certain guests and employees that Ye had ordered the construction of a temporary bedroom in his offices, the lawsuit said.

In addition, Ye used company restrooms and locker rooms to have sex with social event attendees and women who the lawsuit alleges he “paid and trafficked.”

The first version of Pisciotta's lawsuit described the rapper as a threat of sexual harassment in the workplace and claimed he used his business and the prospect of potential employment as a coercive tool.

It was alleged that Ye sent the plaintiff sexually explicit text messages, hired Pisciotta to provide him with sexual enhancement honey, excessively shared stories about sexual encounters, sent her photos of naked women, sent her a video of a model performing oral sex on him , and then asked her for hugs. She refused several times, accused him of having sex with the plaintiff during business contacts, repeated his unrequited sexual desire for her and masturbated several times in front of her.

Both the original and amended filings allege wrongful termination, breach of contract, sexual harassment and hostile work environment, unlawful retaliation and emotional distress. The amended complaint also highlighted allegations of false imprisonment, sexual assault and infliction of emotional distress.

The relief sought includes compensatory damages likely to include the millions of dollars Pisciotta promised in Ye's filing for her continued commitment to his efforts, punitive damages, attorney's fees and any other relief approved by the court.
