This smoke will be in the air and not near the surface, so skies across the region will be cloudy for most of the day.

Your Tuesday night will be calm and mostly clear, with perhaps a few passing clouds.

Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s to lower 50s, which is above average for this time of year.

Wind speeds will be around 5 to 10 miles per hour at night.

Your Thursday is expected to be another warm day, with high temperatures in the mid to even upper 80s across southern Siouxland.

Winds continue to blow from the south and southeast with occasional gusts of around 15 mph.
